Financial Assistance
In order to provide ample and equal opportunities to students with low means of sustenance, students from backward classes, students from poor background and even those who are physically handicapped, a number of postmatric scholarships are administered by the college. These are financed by the Govt. of India through the state government and are disbursed as per guidelines of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, government of India. In addition to this, college also grants financial assistance to poor and needy students out of the Student Aid Fund.
Orphan students with no earnings, children with broken families and no economic support and physically challenged students are also considered for assistance form the student Aid Fund. The amount is, however governed by several factors and varies from time to time. This year college distributed Rupees Eight Lac among the poor and the needy. Financial assistance is provided to such students for the purpose of purchasing books and other necessities, payment of college and university dues.
